My wife and I experienced the trauma of watching our daughter Eloise endure multiple operations as a baby and are eternally grateful to the medical professionals who helped us.  Since then we have both been inspired to get more involved in the community and support charities dear to our heart.  I urge anyone to dig deep and support these worthwhile charities.

Michael is honoured to be a celebrity ambassador for the national breast cancer foundation

As Celebrity Ambassador, Michael’s ultimate goal is to help the NBCF to raise enough money to fund a cure for breast cancer.

Over the past 3 years Michael and his team has been heavily involved in 2 major campaigns for the Foundation, the Pink Ribbon Breakfast and the Estee Lauder Global Illumination.

Helping to raise vital funds for the Pink Ribbon Breakfast campaign involves Michael creating delicious breakfast recipes for the annual Pink Magazine, while the Estee Lauder Global Illumination sets a bigger challenge 

 

Bear Cottage

The Celebrity Chef’s Dinner has become a “must attend” culinary event at the International College of Management.  This year the event raised much needed funds for Bear Cottage, a hospice for children and their families living with terminal illness.


Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation

Michael is one of 5 high profile chefs who support the Silver Party.  Attended by Sydney's social elite, prominent community and business leaders, Silver Party raises funds for the Hospital's Emergency department.


The Bestest

The Bestest is a charity that raises money for kids in need. The funds are distributed to a number of smaller children’s charities throughout Australia. Michael is one of the chefs from a gathering of 50 of the best chefs from Australia and around the world.
